This little guy was left at the shelter because his owners couldn't afford veterinary treatment for a recurring eye infection.  He's very sweet and gentle.  We have treated an eye infection that he had.  His eyes look great now, but it may be necessary to watch them closely for signs of recurring infection.

We don't know how old Scranton is, but he appears to be in his senior years.  Chinchillas can live to as old as 20 yrs.

His adoption fee is $75.  Appropriate chinchilla cages can be expensive, so please do your research to be sure you can afford everything he needs before adoption.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations.  Our adoption fee is $75 for one animal or $100 for two animals adopted at the same time.  If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to complete the adoption application on our website www.creatureconcerns.org.  Completing the application does not obligate you to adopt.  It is simply a vital part of the process.
